Nutri-Green History

Nutri-Green was started in 1989 by a local investment consortium who saw an opportunity to produce from the various crops grown extensively in the area alternative products having unique nutritional values.  The environmentally clean growing conditions were considered a particular advantage for entry into the clean Health Food Market.

With development of the special low temperature drying technology and unique powdering process that gives Nutri-Green leaf powder its exceptional quality, the Company quickly became a dominant supplier in the Australian market.

In 1991 Nutri-Green was formally registered.   In 1996 a local cold pressed vegetable oil processor was acquired to enable Nutri-Green to diversify its range of health food products.

At the same time, the Company recognised the need to expand into overseas markets to supply an international demand for high quality greenfoods and to provide the opportunity for future growth of the company.
